A resident of Minnetonka, Minnesota, Jamie Hurewitz earned her juris doctor from the Hamline University School of Law and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas. An accomplished attorney and legal executive, Jamie Hurewitz has over 15 years of experience providing legal counsel to tech startups and established corporations, primarily in the areas of securities, intellectual property, and compliance. She maintains membership with the Minnesota State Bar Association.

Previously, Ms. Hurewitz served as corporate counsel for Vital Images, Inc., where she managed the company’s legal team from 2015 to 2017. She has also held the position of associate general counsel within the legal department of Infor, Inc., a role in which she drafted software licensing contracts and strengthened the firm's intellectual property portfolio, among other responsibilities. She has served in additional positions including as an associate attorney at Meagher & Geer, P.L.L.P., counsel to St. Jude Medical, and as a contract negotiator, specialist, and analyst for various companies.

Dedicated to supporting business development in the community, Jamie Hurewitz served as a mentor with Techstars UHC and as a speaker at Twin Cities Startup Week.
